UNHS is an Early College High School that offers rigorous curricula with individualized access for all, empowering students to prosper in higher education and the workforce. Beginning in 10th grade, our students can earn up to 30 tuition-free college credits before graduating high school through CUNY College Now classes offered on-site (13 different courses on-site per year) for both College and High School course credit and 12 Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Our CTE program offers students a choice between Computer Science and Engineering. 2025 graduates headed to MIT, Cornell, Swarthmore, Wash U, NYU, Haverford, Middlebury, Boston University, Northeastern, Wesleyan, Purdue University, U of Wisconsin, Babson, Lehigh, CUNY's, SUNY's. Named to America's Top HS List 8 Years in a Row by US News and World Report. Named Respect for All HS 8 years in a row. The school is equipped with a Maker Space for Engineering and Computer Science courses with robots and 3D Printers. UNHS has over 40 Clubs and Sports Teams including Debate, Engineering, Coding, Gardening, Green Team, Video Game Club, Student Equity Leaders, SAGA (Sexuality and Gender Alliance), Black Student Union, Jewish Student Union, Hispanic and Asian Culture Clubs, Muslim Student Union, National Honors Society and much more! We had a 100% Graduation rate in 2025 with over 80% of students earning a New York State Seal of Civic Readiness, nearly 50% of students earning an Advanced Regents Diploma (some with Honors), and 30% of Students Earning a CTE Seal in Computer Science.
