Privacy notes

This version of NYC School Finder is a public information website. It does not currently offer user accounts, saved lists, or direct messaging.

If you use address search, the site sends the text you enter through a server-side proxy to NYC Planning GeoSearch so it can resolve the address into a location. That query is used to return search suggestions and district / zoning context for the current session.

The site may also use platform-level analytics and performance tooling to understand page usage, latency, and reliability. These notes should be revised again before a branded public launch with a custom domain and final legal review.
