School of the Future Brooklyn is a college-preparatory middle school dedicated to providing all students with a rigorous and supportive learning environment. We foster academic excellence, independence, self-discipline, and global citizenship, ensuring each scholar is prepared to contribute meaningfully to their community and beyond. As a STEAM-focused school, we integrate science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics into dynamic, student-centered instruction. Our innovative Z-Space labs bring biology and other sciences to life through immersive 3D learning. Students engage with culturally responsive curricula that reflect their identities and experiences, helping them connect deeply with content. Through college tours, day trips, and real-world learning experiences, our scholars expand their horizons and envision their futures. Across all classrooms, students are taught to articulate their thinking clearly-using academic vocabulary and citing textual evidence in both written and verbal forms-so they become confident, thoughtful communicators and critical thinkers.
