Zoned continuation school with K-8 service. Zoned entry does not always translate into an open middle-school seat for late movers.

Middle school students participate in Broadway Jr. and attend Broadway plays. Our students have attended American Voices in NJ where there were over 8,000 students who participated. PBIS and The Ruler are used school-wide. Students participate in Enact and Thrive, which are programs that focus on anti-gang violence and positive community relationships. We are a Community School; we offer community dinners to students, staff, families and the community in order to foster community building. Middle School students in grades 7 and 8 participate in College Access for All, which allows students to visit college campuses. Elevate and Creative Connections have worked on skills with our 7th and 8th grade students to help them prepare for high school. Student Government and Harlem Magic Masters are used as an attendance incentive. Students participate in chorus and there is Title 1 homework help after school. After school programs available to all students in grades K-8, New York Edge and NYJTL. Algebra for All prepares students for algebra and focuses on researched based strategies in order to move students. Saturday Academy is offered to students in grades 3-8 in preparation for the NY State Math, ELA, and Science exams. Coding courses offered and virtual enterprise - students start their own business (all aspects) and students create a brand, history, logo etc.
