About this school
Zoned continuation school with K-8 service. Zoned entry does not always translate into an open middle-school seat for late movers.
PS/MS 47Q is a small 3K-8 school located on the island of Broad Channel in Jamaica Bay. We house one class per grade level. Our Middle School classes engage in weekly club activities as well as trips exclusive to their grade band. Additionally, students in Grade 8 participate in the Algebra I Regents as well as the Living Environment Regents. Students in our upper grades also have the opportunity to participate in our after school Performing Arts Club.
