At Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH), young people with an interest in technology, engineering and similar fields get the opportunity to accelerate through college and career opportunities to get their future started early. Students receive individualized support in preparing for and securing an entry-level position in the competitive IT industry through a founding partnership with IBM, which provides our students with paid internships, mentoring and other career exploration opportunities. In addition, P-TECH students are able to earn an Associate degree or up to two years of early college credit from CUNY's New York City College of Technology--all while still in high school. Ambitious students are able to finish high school early, earn a college degree ahead of schedule, and all the costs of college are covered from grade 9-14, meaning two-years at City Tech are fully paid for, including textbooks, lab fees and transportation.
