HSLEAPS PROVIDES OUR STUDENTS WITH A STATE OF THE ART FACILITY WHICH INCLUDES CENTRAL AIR AND ACCESSIBILITY. WE WORK IN COLLABORATION WITH THENEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE. ONE OF OUR GOALS IS TO PIPELINE STUDENTS FROM HSLEAPS INTO THE NYPD AS AN OPTION FOR STUDENTS. OUR SCHOOL OFFERS A CHALLENGING ACADEMIC PROGRAM INTRODUCING STUDENTS TO CAREERS IN LAW ENFORCEMENT AND PUBLIC SAFETY. STUDENTS CAN OBTAIN COLLEGE CREDITS THROUGH OUR DUAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAM WITH MONROE UNIVERISTY AS WELL AS THROUGH OUR PARTNERSHIPS WITH SUNY FARMINGDALE, SYRACUSE UNIVERISTY, AND CITY-WIDE COLLEGE NOW PROGRAMS. IN ADDITION, THROUGH OUR ELECTIVE PROGRAM, STUDENTS ARE ALSO INTRODUCED TO A VARIETY OF OTHER CAREERS INCLUDING BUSINESS, FORENSICS, AND MUSIC PRODUCTION. BY EXPOSING STUDENTS TO A WIDE VARIETY OF CAREER OPPORTUNITIES, STUDENTS COME TO UNDERSTAND HOW ALL AREAS OF STUDY ARE INTERRELATED AND HOW THEIR EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE SUPPORTS THEIR CAREER CHOICE.
