Ebbets Field Middle School (EFMS) is a vibrant and diverse learning community located in the heart of Brooklyn, serving students in grades 6 through 8. Our school sits within a dynamic urban neighborhood rich in cultural heritage, community pride, and resilience. The majority of our student population reflects the cultural and linguistic diversity of Brooklyn, with many students coming from historically underserved backgrounds. We are proud to serve a community that values education, family, and opportunity. Ebbets Field is built on the field of the former Brooklyn Dodgers, which has historical significance, because it represents the place where Jackie Robinson, through sheer determination, perseverance, resilience and commitment, integrated American baseball, by breaking the color barrier. Ebbets Field Middle School (EFMS) 17K352 serves 159 students in grades 6-8. The school demographics consists of 85% Black/African-American, 10% Hispanic/Latino, 5% Asian/Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, and 2% White students.
