The Brooklyn School for Music and Theatre is a premiere performing arts school in a prime location in Brooklyn. In addition to our academic program that offers high school and college level classes we are partnered with Monroe College to offer a pipeline for young people into a Bachelor's program in Business Arts with a minor in Entertainment Media. During our instructional day, for over an hour every day, our students study their arts major with arts professionals. There is a wide variety of arts classes to choose from including; Specialty Choir, Dance, Technical Theatre, Drama, Art, Guitar and DJ, Songwriting and Production. We believe students learn best by doing industry work and by constantly performing for their peers, their families and their community. We also strongly believe in Restorative Justice and it is reflective in our art and the relationships we build regularly in our community. BSMT is a great place to learn, build community and to grow as an artist and a human.
