Bronx Compass High School's mission is for all students to graduate equipped to succeed in the college and career of their dreams. Our Students have GRIT: Guts, Responsibility, Integrity and Tenacity, and our entire staff works closely with individual students to demonstrate these core values. Students receive consistent guidance and support from our team of school counselors to obtain scholarships/grants, visit college campuses, and strive for their college and career goals. We have a Pathways Advisor on staff that supports students from grade 9 through the 12th grade in preparation for life after high school, whether students are interested in pursuing college or a vocational career. Additionally, all of our 9th graders take a literacy class to help them improve the essential reading, writing, speaking and listening skills necessary to be successful throughout high school. Our teachers and staff also provide many opportunities for clubs and trips and learning outside of the classroom. We participate in Civics For All, AP for All, Virtual AP Courses (we can offer students AP Courses based on interest), and the National Equity Lab (students take Ivy League Courses!)
