We are a small 6-12 school focused on Math & Science and using technology to enhance instruction while providing strong social emotional support. Our SEL program is supported through our partners such as Council for Unity, Robin, and the National Care project, which all focus on building wellness and life-long skills that stem beyond high school. We also have an advisory program. Students have an adviser who meets with them weekly and helps to keep them on track and to help support them as members of the Archimedes Academy family. Each classroom is equipped with interactive technology to enhance instruction and devices. We begin identifying and enriching and accelerating qualified students in the 6th grade so that they can earn anywhere from 2 to 8 HS credits with us in 8th grade through participation in our HS classes(Algebra I, Living Environment, US History and Spanish). We hope that students stay with us through HS and earn up to one year of college credit through our Advanced Placement college courses. We offer AP Stats, AP US, AP LIt, AP Pre Calculus, and AP Psychology. In addition, we offer after school programming through our partner SoBro and Build On and sports through our PSAL & CHAMPS program.
